Nawezito Damiano Nawezi
Born in the beating heart of Rome in 1995, I have been fascinated since I was young by the mysteries of existence and the complexity of the world around us. The choice to undertake a course of studies in History of Art at Sapienza was a natural step, an attempt to decipher the universal language of the image and to understand the profound motivations that animate artists of every era.
My artistic research is an introspective journey, a continuous excavation into the unconscious in search of those hidden truths that shape our perception of reality. I am interested in investigating the relationships between things, the causal connections that bind events, the nuances that defy any categorization. Each work is a fragment of a larger puzzle, an attempt to give tangible form to abstract concepts and to arouse a sense of wonder and amazement in the audience.
I am particularly fascinated by diversity, understood as richness and complexity. I like to explore the gray areas, the margins, the places where the rules crack and where new possibilities emerge. My works are an invitation to look beyond appearances, to glimpse the beauty hidden in the most common things.
Through the use of heterogeneous materials and different techniques, I try to create a unique and personal visual language, capable of evoking deep emotions and stimulating reflection. My works are an invitation to question our human condition, to seek a deeper meaning to existence.
